And, my lord, like all those adoption fantasies we have, I’m sure it’s real.

No need to prove yourself as a robot or cyborg. All you need to do is convince The Pixie that you are a qualified robot mechanic – a cheap tool kit from Bunnings and a few random ‘spare’ wires etc should suffice as a Qualified Robot Mechanic Repair Kit.

It’s worth the expense to ensure your place on the mothership should an emergency evacuation become necessary.
