At last, a place for readers of this blog to sum up the NDM experience for the blissfully uninitiated.
The NDM wishes it to be known that all testimonials were provided of the reader’s free will, without promise of brownies or fear of being vomited on.

Better than the crap novel I bought at Tallinn airport!
I used to go to lots of different websites for stories about vomit, pooh and boobies. Now I can get them all in one convenient, hilarious package. Thanks, NDM.
Yeah, yeah, it’s great, okay? So when are you coming to bed?
If you’re really in a position to understand just how wise and wry the NDM blog is, then ipso facto you don’t have time to read it.
It’s a bit like watching Fawlty Towers. I laugh so much my face hurts, the slapstick is outstanding, I feel a little worried about the sanity of the creatives behind it and I love talking about my favourite episodes with my friends and understanding ‘real life’ in terms of which NDM post it most resembles!
Not Drowning, Mothering. So true – NDM tells it as it is. Her true-to-life account of the highs and lows of mothering have left me in tears of tenderness, laughter and joy. NDM – you have an amazing ability to put life through a colander and and find all the good bits. And not surprisingly, sometimes the good bits are the bits that start off bad and end up wonderful.
If this is a place to spread the lub – I need a giant sized butter knife. I identify with so many of your stories. Not the ones where you have gotten to go out and get blotto in front of the other mums. I can only wish and hope that is in my future.
This blog is funny. A Donald Trump-type (except less lecherous and without the dodgy casino bankruptcy history) should commission her to write whatever she wants for copious amounts of money. Just sayin.
I first landed up here as a result of my search on ‘bing.com’ – (search terms: suburban apocalypse+Russian brides in Spring). In the months since, this has become my go-to site on the Web for keenly observed comedy With. Abundant. Full. Stops.
I like to laugh in the morning and as commercial radio conspicuously fails to deliver this every single time, I’d like to recommend the NDM’s blog as a preferred and consistent supplier of same.
Peace In.
This blog is fantastic. It sometimes makes me cry, it often makes me laugh and I always feel better after reading it. The Not-Drowning Mother is a terrific writer and I don’t know why a publisher has not picked this up yet!
From a frequently-drowning mother and sporadic blogger
One of the great blogs, and always a good read. You are just as crazy on Twitter. you know that, don’t you ?………….
